Whatever the occasion we’re sure you’ll find the right setting and atmosphere. We have a choice of 3 individually styled rooms:

The Bar Area

Stunning furniture… as exlusive as our food and drink. Creating a boutique wine cafe that is like nowhere else in Harrogate.

The Family Lounge

A great room for families, with a train track for children to play with, or if you just want to relax in a comfy settee. This is a very rustic room, with a log burner during the winter and the French windows open during the summer. This popular room is normally where our guests choose to hold private functions and parties.

The Restaurant

This is a little more formal – or as formal as Jakes gets. A lovely open plan room with the clear touch of a very talented interior designer, making this a room to enjoy a intimate dinner or family gathering. The room provides a fabulous aspect out of the floor-to-ceiling windows which are framed in lush deep fabrics. Enjoy….

Italian Wine Dinner

Jakes recently hosted our first Italian Wine Dinner which prompted the following comments from our guests

just thought I’d drop you a quick note to say how much we enjoyed the food and wine evening last night.
We’ve been regulars to the coffee shop in the past, but will certainly be back to sample the delights on an evening.

“We recently went to Jake’s wine evening and it was fantastic. What a great idea to have a meal with different wines with each course and a full description given about the wines. We had a table of eight and it was better than just a meal as the evening had a theme. We had to stay on afterwards just to really taste the wines!”
